Yemen's Iran-backed Houthis said they struck two Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea early Thursday, identifying the vessels as the Saudi-flagged Layla and Encelia, after announcing a naval blockade on Saudi ships.
Saudi Press Agency reported the Encelia was targeted while sailing, causing a fire on its bow, with all crew members reported safe; Saudi Arabia has not commented on the Layla, and CNN could not independently verify the claims.
