Shootout at Seattle food festival kills 3; police arrest suspect and search for another - NBC News

Three people were killed and four others injured in what police believe was a shootout between two gunmen at the Bite of Seattle food festival at Seattle Center on Sunday night, July 26.
The victims who died were a 19-year-old man, a 44-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman; two died at the scene and a third died at Harborview Medical Center.
Seven people in total were shot at the civic complex, home to the Space Needle, and the injured included a toddler, with wounds to an arm, leg, abdomen and lower leg.
One gunman, described by Assistant Seattle Police Chief Tyrone Davis as "a young person," surrendered after being confronted by police, while a second shooter fled and was being sought.
Davis said police recovered two guns at the scene, did not fire their weapons, and believed there was no outstanding threat to the community; several injured victims were reported in satisfactory or stabilized condition.
Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson called the shooting "an unbelievable tragedy, a horrific act of violence" and expressed support for the victims, their families and first responders.
