Mary Jo, mother of Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, dies aged 91 - BBC

Mary Jo Campbell, mother of Kardashian-Jenner "momager" Kris Jenner, has died aged 91, with her daughter announcing the news on social media on Thursday.
Known as MJ Shannon, Campbell was born in 1934 and died on 26 July, just short of her 92nd birthday. No cause of death was provided.
She appeared regularly on the family's reality shows, including Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which premiered in 2007, and The Kardashians, becoming a fan favourite for her sassy one-liners and sage advice.
Campbell had two daughters, Kris Jenner and Karen Houghton, the latter of whom died of cardiac arrest in March 2024 at age 65. She was grandmother to Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, as well as Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
In tribute, Kris Jenner, 70, wrote that MJ taught the family that "family is everything" and how to love unconditionally, adding that she saw "pieces of you in all of us."
Kim Kardashian described her grandmother as "my best friend, my gossip buddy, my forever twin," crediting MJ with giving her a first job at her San Diego retail store and teaching her about work ethic and being a hardworking businesswoman. The family had celebrated MJ's 90th birthday on The Kardashians in San Diego and honoured her 91st with a garden-themed celebration.
