Lucy Davis, known for "The Office" and "Wonder Woman," has revealed a Stage 4 breast cancer diagnosis, disclosing she had quietly battled the disease for about a year and a half.
The actress said the cancer has metastasized to her spine, right hip and ribs and is now considered "incurable," with chemotherapy no longer a treatment option.
Sharing her story on Instagram, Davis said the initial warning sign was a "really tiny" hard spot rather than a distinct lump, and she urged others not to ignore symptoms and to get everything checked.
Davis said she is focused on living whatever time remains "in as fun a way as I possibly can," describing cancer as a source of teachable moments for which she is grateful.
She spoke candidly about the physical toll, noting that pain can be severe and that standing or walking for long perids is difficult, sometimes requiring a wheelchair.
Expressing peace with her prognosis, Davis said she is not scared of what comes next and plans to continue acting and advocating for animal rights, causes she describes as among the greatest joys in her life.
