North Carolina woman missing in Grenada as husband heads to join search - CBS News

Elizabeth "Liz" Waddell, a woman from North Carolina, went missing while visiting the Caribbean island of Grenada, according to local authorities and her husband.
She was last seen at Grand Anse Beach on Wednesday, July 22, according to the Royal Grenada Police Force, which issued a public appeal for information.
Police specifically called on fishermen, boat operators, and residents along the southern coastline to report any sightings or relevant details that could help locate her.
Her husband, Cailen Waddell, posted on Facebook that he was traveling to Grenada to help search, urging friends to share information and expressing hope for her safe return.
He also shared an additional photo of his wife with blonde hair to aid in the search efforts.
The U.S. State Department said it was aware of reports of a missing American in Grenada but referred further questions to local law enforcement.
