Immigration has shifted notably: the GOP held an 8-point edge in April, but Democrats are now preferred by one point.
Democrats show stronger turnout enthusiasm, with 68% saying they are extremely motivated to vote versus 57% of Republicans, an 11-point gap; among Republicans, MAGA voters (66%) far outpace non-MAGA Republicans (41%).
On the generic House ballot, 53% of voters would back the Democratic candidate versus 46% for Republicans — a 7-point edge and the highest share either party has recorded in Fox News polling since 1996; in counties where the 2024 Trump-Harris margin was within 10 points, Democrats lead 59-41%.
Republican pollster Daron Shaw cautioned that some Democratic support sits in less-competitive districts, noting the GOP could retain the House even if Democrats win the national vote by 2-3 points, though a 6-7 point margin would likely flip the chamber.
