Scoop: Republican midterms convention speakers revealed - Axios

President Trump and his leading allies are set to appear alongside Republican candidates competing in some of the country's most contested races at the party's midterm convention taking place next week in Dallas, according to a preliminary lineup.
The convention is being used by the GOP as a rallying tool aimed at energizing core Trump supporters ahead of the midterm elections.
The event is designed to place high-profile party figures on the same stage as candidates running in battleground contests, boosting their visibility.
By featuring Trump prominently, the party signals its strategy of leaning on his continued influence to mobilize the Republican base.
The gathering reflects the GOP's broader focus on turning out its most committed voters as it prepares for the upcoming midterm cycle.
