Buc-ee's to open 6 locations in 6 states. See when and where - USA Today

Buc-ee's opened its first Arkansas location in Benton on Aug. 17, 2026, marking the beaver-branded chain's 58th store nationwide and continuing its expansion beyond Texas.
The Benton site spans 74,000 square feet with 120 fueling stations and is expected to create more than 200 jobs, with the company saying starting wages are "well above minimum wage" without providing a figure.
The travel center chain, founded in 1982, has expanded rapidly in recent years, opening its first Ohio and Arizona stores this year, its first Virginia location in 2025 and its Colorado debut in 2024.
Upcoming openings include a Murfreesboro, Tennessee, store on Nov. 16, plus 2027 locations in Ruston, Louisiana; Kansas City, Kansas; Gallaway, Tennessee; St. Lucie, Florida; Boerne, Texas; and Monroe County, Georgia. Additional stores are slated through 2031 in states including North Carolina, Kentucky and South Carolina.
The company has faced criticism over trademark lawsuits, including a suit against Beaver's Mini Mart, a small pump-free corner store in Beavercreek, Ohio, that Buc-ee's argues could confuse customers with its beaver logo.
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine called the lawsuit "ridiculous" and urged Buc-ee's to drop it, while John Oliver highlighted the company's history of suing small businesses with cartoon-animal logos on the July 26 episode of "Last Week Tonight."
