Australian Lucas Herbert made history with a 62, opening with a 6-under 28 that tied the lowest nine-hole score in Open history; he narrowly missed a 5-footer at 18 that would have delivered the first-ever 61 in a major, and holds the 36-hole lead at 8-under.
